Hi, as I posted in another thread, I'm working with a new laptop at work. I need to pin MS outlook to my start menu. Previously, I could press the applications key and an option would appear. Now, I'm in Windows 7, and can't find said Applications key. Has it been eliminated in W7? I used it a lot, so feel kinda lost. Any suggestions?
it could be in a different place on your new laptop. If you are unable to find it, you can also utilize the keystroke shift f10.
What laptop do you have? The key itself is not eliminated: the operating system still processess it's scan code, and applications still use it.
If you tell us what laptop you have someone on here may be using a similar one and can tell you where it is. Do you know where your Windows key is? I had a Dell Inspiron once whose Windows and Application keys were on the top right-hand side of the keyboard, of all places.
My applications key is on my Dell Latitude 630 for home use with XP. I'm not sure what Dell I'm using at work. I know it's a latitude, but not sure which model. I'll try the shift f10 key.
